ERIC BATTIG graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geophysics (Honours) in 2000 from The University of Queensland. He was employed by MIM Exploration based in Brisbane where he worked on a wide variety of projects both within Australia and in Central and South America. In this time he gained considerable experience on a wide variety of geophysical techniques applied to a broad range of terrains. He was involved in all aspects of exploration and environmental geophysics from acquisition through to project management.

After finishing at MIM in 2003, Eric spent 7 months working as a consultant Project Geophysicist to Xstrata Copper in Argentina and Northern Chile, responsible for ground and airborne geophysical surveys. In 2004 he joined the GRS team.
